There's no Book or Manual like it
If you are considering applying for permanent residence
status in Canada, you need to have my self-help book.
It covers everything you should know about how
to become a permanent resident of Canada. The book is easily understood
without any direct reference to the Immigration Act and Regulations.
I would like you to use it as a practical and step-by-step guide
to the Canadian Immigration process. It explains what you have to
know to go about applying for permanent residence, and what you
may expect as you go through each stage of the procedure.
It outlines today's policy and procedures, explains
the various methods to apply, allows you to narrow your options,
provides an overview of the processes, shows you how to apply the
'point system' to yourself, gives you question by question advice
on how to fill out the application forms, provides a listing of
every single occupation in the 'skilled worker' category, and much,
much more.
My book takes you step-by-step through the application
process up to receipt of your immigration visa, as well how to protect
your status after landing in Canada. What could be more comprehensive?
You can maximize your chances of success. You won't
be refused because you didn't complete the application forms in
a manner to best present your case. I will show you how. My book
answers all the essential questions you have if you are contemplating
immigrating to Canada.
You could save thousands of dollars
There is no any other single source that gives
you as much solid advice. Immigrating to Canada means going through
a complicated screening system. You probably need help. But a lawyer
or consultant will cost you several thousand dollars.
With my book, you can determine in advance if you
may comply with the requirements and how to properly prepare and
submit your application on your own. At the very least, you will
have the information necessary about the immigration process to
make an intelligent choice in retaining an immigration consultant.

How to order
The Guide is currently unavailable as it is being
completely revised due to proposed major changes in the Immigration
Regulations.
On December 15, 2001 the Immigration Department
published proposed new Immigration Regulations which include a radical
new selection criteria (point system) for prospective immigrants.
These proposals have met with a great deal of criticism within Canada,
as they would make immigration to Canada much more difficult.
The proposals are now under review and will almost
certainly be relaxed, but it could be until June 2002 before the
Regulations are finalized and implemented. One of the proposals
is that the new point system be implemented retroactively to December
15, 2001. In other words, even though the new system is not in effect
yet, all applications received after December 15, 2001 will be assessed
under the new selection system, when it comes into effect.
Because of great uncertainty this situation has
created, "The Canadian Immigration
Self-Help Guide" is being entirely re-written to provide
up to the minute information. It will be available for sale when
the Regulations are finalized.
